Cookie Policy

A plain-English summary of the technologies this website uses — and, just as importantly, the ones it does not.

What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. Similar technologies include local storage, which allows a site to remember a small amount of information in your browser. They are used for things like keeping a site working correctly, remembering preferences, or measuring how a site is used.

What this website actually uses

NewtecQ's website is deliberately lightweight. We do not use advertising trackers, and no analytics platform such as Google Analytics or a Meta Pixel is installed.

  • Necessary (always enabled) — technologies required for the site and enquiry form to function and to remain secure. This includes our hosting and network provider's operational and security processing, and one item of local storage that records your cookie preference so we do not ask again on every page.
  • Analytics (optional) — not currently in use. If we introduce measurement in future, it will only run after you have enabled the Analytics category.
  • Functional (optional) — reserved for conveniences such as remembering display preferences. None are active today.
  • Marketing (optional) — not used. No advertising or retargeting technologies are installed.

Third-party services

  • Hosting and network delivery — our hosting and content-delivery provider processes limited technical information (such as IP address and request details) to serve pages and protect against abuse.
  • Web fonts — the site loads the Inter typeface from Google Fonts. Requesting a font file involves your browser contacting Google's font servers, which may process your IP address and request details. No cookies are set by this request.
  • Email delivery — when you submit the enquiry form, the message is transmitted by our email delivery provider so it reaches our inbox. This runs server-side and sets no cookies in your browser.

These providers process information according to their own privacy policies. We do not share your enquiry details with anyone for marketing purposes.

Controlling your preferences

Because no optional analytics or marketing technologies are active, rejecting optional categories changes nothing about how the site behaves — you can do so at any time and just as easily as accepting.

Managing cookies in your browser

Every major browser lets you view, block and delete cookies and site data, usually under Settings → Privacy and security. You can also browse in a private window so stored data is cleared when you close it. Blocking all storage may prevent your cookie preference from being remembered, in which case the notice will reappear.
